Little Champs – Convocation
“Child is the father of man” so goes a saying in English. It is 100% true without doubt. Home is the first school and teachers are the second set of parents. We, at Jnana Bandhu Vidyalaya, provide the same homely atmosphere at school. Our Pre-primary section is the feeder school for higher sections. We decided to conduct “Kids Convocation” for our tiny tots. The first ever graduation day was held during the academic year 2018-2019. Keeping in mind our tiny tots, we have decided to turn this event into an annual feature. The second “Kids Convocation” was celebrated with much fanfare on March 13, 2019. The parents of all the three Pre – primary classes viz., Pre-KG, LKG and UKG were invited to witness this grand spectacle and grace the occasion. They turned up in large numbers with enthusiasm. It was a lovely sight to see all the fifty UKG kids dressed in graduation gowns. Mr. R.A. Chethan Ram, Dean and Managing Trustee, Parivarthana group of institutions, Srirangapatna was the Chief Guest. Sir delivered the Convocation address. Group Captain R.A.Ranjan Ram, VSM(Rtd.) was the guest of honour. They distributed the Convocation Certificates to the passing out UKG students. Administrator Mr. V.V.Ravi, Principal Mrs. Josephine Ashalatha, Vice-Principal Mr. K Mahesh Kumar and Headmistress Mrs. Sunitha Nelson graced the occasion. Later in the day, they handed over the certificates and medals to winners of various sports and cultural events.
