We at Jnana Bandhu Vidyalaya, celebrated the Independence Day in our campus. Our country has successfully completed 71 years of independence and stepping into 72nd year. Founder Secretary of our institution Kumaraswamy Sir hoisted the tricolour. Children of our Pre- primary section took part in the fancy dress competition , masquerading as freedom fighters and replicated their words and deeds on the stage. They brought alive the freedom fighters of yore who gave up their lives to set us free from the British rule. Children of Higher Primary and High School sections sang patriotic songs with fervour Sweets were distributed to staff and students alike. It is the bounden duty of each and every fellow countrymen to safeguard the independence of our nation. We have attained political independence. The meaning of freedom will be more meaningful only if we become socially and economically independent.
