Healthcare

The nurse station is where students go when they are in need of any kind of first aid. It is well equipped with basic medical requirements with an in house experienced nurse.

Hostel Facilities

We also have an excellent hostel for the students of our School / College. This Hostel has provided shelter to hundreds of students in accessing quality education. Some of these students have excelled in different fields and hold responsible positions in the society.

Transport

Effective and efficient means of transport with speed governors and good connectivity to the villages which are located at a distance of nearly 30 kms from the school.

We ply 20 vehicles on different routes reaching 120 villages. Each bus has a first-aid box with a custodian who looks after the children. Drivers are carefully chosen after a rigorous test.

There are ample opportunities for the students to take part in various sports and games. The college has separate courts for games like Basketball and volleyball and big play ground for football, cricket and athletic events. Inter – college tournaments and Sports Day help the students to exhibit their talents.

Jayakrishna popularly known as JK in the cultural milieu of Pandavapura is the man behind the Dance Ensemble of our school. He runs his own Dance Academy and his dedicated band of dancers train our students in various forms of dance – Western viz , pop , rock , folk , contemporary , salsa, breakdance , etc and Indian folk , fusion , bollywood and cinematic dances. He has over ten years of experience and has trained thousands of students.

We don’t confine ourselves only to curricular activities. We bring out the best in each and every child. Please permit us to recall the words of the great Greek philosopher Aristotle , “Man is a cultural animal”. We pay minute attention even to extra curricular activities – Dance , Music and Karate.

Music is the poem of genius. So goes a saying in English. Our Music Guild is a classic example of this. It has produced several such geniuses. We have a band of dedicated musicians both classical and modern to cater to the needs of blooming buds. We bring out their latent talents in both instrumental and vocal forms. We have almost all sorts of musical instruments. We plan to have a brass band on the lines of our military band in the coming academic year.

We see to it that our students are well trained in unarmed combat to meet any eventuality. Sensei Hemanth S. Black Belt – III Dan holder who has an M.A ( Psychology )degree has taken charge of training our students in Shotokan Style of Karate. He is imparting state of the art training since 2003 and has trained over 25,000 studens. 15 Black Belt holders have come off his belt. He has appeared in a programme called “Shabhash India” on Zee T V. It is a matter of pride that our school students have participated in South India level Championship which was hosted at Pandavapura in February, 2018. South Asian Championship held at Meerut , Uttar Pradesh in April, 2017. International level championship at Ahmedabad , Gujarat in December , 2016.

We follow pupil analysis which is a collaborative effort which involves the parent as well as the teacher. Every little detail learnt from you will be preserved for the whole academic year. The previous class teacher sits with the new class teacher and shares each child’s progress and personality individually.
