Our State Poet Laureate Kuvempu’s 113th birth anniversary was celebrated with pride and pomp on December 29 , 2017. He was the first Kannada writer to chinch the prestigious Gnanapeeta Award in 1967. It coincided with the golden jubilee of bagging the award.
